That said, this sort of thread provides a wonderful opportunity for a little venting, a blank scroll for intellectual doodling, a tabula rasa for one's most cherished internal dialogue. For example, I sort of get colon cramps when I eat really hot Mexican food, and I don't think it's food poisoning because it happens right away, and you know bacterial food poisoning tends to have an incubation period of 24 hours for Staph and 48 for Strep, Salmonella, and Shigella, and most viruses, before your guts start to knot and you tend to get real familiar with the texture of the bathroom wall opposite the crapper.
