I thought the entire episode was a disaster...Leno was like a machine gun, working from a list, obviously compiled by a bunch of his leftist looney-tune cohorts..he barely had time to came up for air. Cruz was calm in the face of leno’s attacks, but hardly had the ability to shine under such uncalled for circumstances. It made me uncomfortabe just viewing this. You can put a fork in leno as far as I’m concerned.

There was a post the other night on FR - arguing with a liberal is like playing chess with a pigeon - it was the perfect analogy.

Ideally, though, I want a metaphor that allows Jay Leno to save face.

Lefty or not, Jay Leno is not NEARLY as bad as David Letterman,
and Jay still tells some of the best "Obama" jokes!

If he is allowed to justify his attacks on Senator Cruz as being comparable to
the actions of Captain Picard, under the irresistible influence of the Borg - i.e., not his fault --
he may treat future conservative guests more fairly, in what little time that he has left on the air.

Leno looked like a desperate man. What was it that had his underwear in knots? He looked hell bent on sticking it to Cruz in a social situation. Very weird viewing. Like, trying his best to demonize the opposition, when the incumbents are such incompetent boobs. Anyone with half an education can see exactly what Leno was trying to do.

I hope Cruz doesn’t feel the need to go on more shows like that one. Doesn’t need the liberal ambushes, never helps anything.
