Well at least the Mexicans in Texas haven’t taken over the voting yet like here in ca
It’s over here. Everyone. White brown black green votes D
But the weather is still damn good and the girls and trees are pretty too
So I’m staying
And in this hippie town in Marin county everyone believes in karma do I don’t ever have to lock crisp or watch my small kids too close
( but close enough! Cars are still driven by people in a hurry far too often)
Anyway. Where you choose to live is very important. But mostly for the environs
Fla has some incredible waterways Incredible
And beaches too!
Please enlighten me why I am wrong about Bush.
I thought George HW Bush had a somewhat successful presidency, but his inability to stand up to the Democrats (”Read My Lips”...) is what gave Bill Clinton an opening to sneak in the door.
And Obama never would have made it into office without 8 years of Bush junior warming up the room.
We're right here, friend. You've always got us.
I should also add that, for me, homo-marriage is the end game, the belwether. It’s not entirely this issue alone, but it serves as the cultural symbol of America’s decay. America’s descent into evil. If America does indeed embrace it, without fight, my interest in the preservation of the republic comes to a complete end.
I am too tired to do so but I will say all you Bush haters sound like Democrats to me
We are at the point of no return, barring an economic calamity which results in the election of officials who respect private property and the Constitutional order. It could happen, but the odds are not great.
The question then is can we separate ourselves from these murdering thieves, who will pick our families’ pockets clean and turn us into slaves for them? Separation may be the only option.
Welcome to Texas. We need all the reinforcements we can get.
Never surrender, never give up!
Excuse the Galaxy Quest reference.
Read 2 Chronicles 29 and see how quickly God turns a nation around. The chapter ends itch verse 36: “Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced over what God had prepared for the people, because the thing came about suddenly. “
Another great article today that will just burn up over at The American Spectator. We have to see who ELSE is not our friend and it’s been going on for a long time.

I’ll never forget an Argentinian warning William F. Buckley on his ‘Firing Line’ show that this country was going the Argentine way. When was it? I think during the Reagan years; I was a young lad then. Buckley dismissed the warning. Argentina, which 80 years ago was one of the top six world economies, has never recovered from Peronism despite having several years of military dictatorship. This is where we are going, if we’re not there already! No country in history has returned from the welfare state misery. Obamafoams are forever, foo stams are forever... continue the list yourself
It ain’t worth trying to defend Bush here, but I appreciate you. Bush is the only Republican president I have had in my adult life.
Is that really all that matters to you? You'd give up living in a place that more resembles the real America, just so you can enjoy the weather and the scenery in Commieland?
Damn...
I was born in Monterey County in 1953 and lived in California until late 2005, when I packed up my small business and my family and pushed off to Texas. California was wonderful for much of the time I lived there, but the California I knew has disappeared.
What made it a paradise wasn't the natural beauty of the place and the incredible weather. No, it was the American ideals instilled into nearly everyone who made that place the jewel of the country. When those who possess those ideals became outnumbered by those who blindly accept or truly believe in leftist ideals, the heart and soul went out of the place.
You may as well be living in some gorgeous South American country that's run by a Socialist dictator and his corrupt goon class.
Good (albeit sorrowful) rant.
It’s easy to see in hindsight that “we let them” get away with this, that, and the other thing, to our own destruction as a nation.
But why does this type of history repeat? It’s because at the time, it always seems like a good idea... mercy, tolerance, compassion that is. A good-hearted people (I don’t mean mindless, bleeding heart types, just decent honest citizens) want to give the benefit of the doubt. It’s the default mode of a good people. It’s simply not natural for them to assume the worst in others and draw a cold, fixed line in the sand. Just because, if nothing else, they might be wrong. There’s a deep love of and sense of justice that is inherent in this attitude.
The history of Israel (ancient and modern) is full of missteps - their being too kind and compassionate to people who hate them and want to wipe them out. And ironically IMO that peculiar type of disobedience marked Jacob as the true heir to the promises given to Abraham. Contrast Esav/Amalek... would *they* hold back from wiping out nations for any reason at all, much less out of a sense of mercy? Amalek preyed upon the weak and weary.
Obama is where he is because his like-minded Amalekite predator voters put him there, many eager to vote multiple times to void out lawful opposition.
An abuser is keen to place the blame on his victim. We the People are the true heirs to our nation, not the bully abusers and ingrate interlopers, try as they might.
Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
I don't think there's so much hatred of the Bush's on FR. It's more like a deep and abiding disappointment that goes down to the bones of conservatives.
So many of us pinned so much hope on George W, and he fell short time and time again. Most of us never wanted to believe that he was a moderate squish who felt comfortable forwarding an agenda that was more Democrat than Republican, but his record shows that's exactly what he was.
Try to understand that quite a few people feel betrayed by him.
Indeed, and many are thinking along those lines more and more.
Yes sir. I brought five good Americans with me, who will hold the line if they're ever called to.
Even better question for the Lord is what CAN you become?
Lamech is not suggested as a role model, incidentally.
When you don't go to God, you go to the dogs.
Great analysis. Thanks for posting.
The last real President we had was Ronald Reagan. I miss the 80s. Things were not perfect, but they were a lot better then than they are right now. America was a lot better then than it is right now.
