What will happen, when someone decides to resist this crap? You can read about it in that someone's obituary.
This will stop (to some degree) when the cops have reason to expect blow back for their actions. They know, and are correct, that there will be no significant repercussions from the courts for their actions. I leave it to you to contemplate what other repercussions could be visited upon them that would be a deterrent to these Gestapo-esc brutalities.
