That doesn't sound very well adjusted, although unfortunately it is "normal" these days

Bobby Fischer was so engrossed with chess that he had little time for relationships with other people, including girls. Fischer did things with chess pieces that bordered on the magical, but there is a sort of sadness of how the rest of his human existence just deteriorated.
