Welcome to the last days of the Roman Republic where if you weren’t
from a handful of Patrician families you had no chance of election to Consul or any form of Magistrate.
We must have been there for a long time. Political Dynasties have been part of America practically from the beginning. We are not Rome. If countries were going to go the way of Rome then Europe would be gone already. We are not Rome and I laugh when people say so.
Go ahead and laugh. I weep. Our Republic is as dead as the Roman Republic.
