I am a born and bred Charlottesville girl (age 62) (: for as many generations back as I know of. Among others I am descended from the Gianniny’s that came and did stone work for Thomas Jefferson. Charlottesville was a wonderful, conservative, small SOUTHERN town to grow up in. Now going about 80% lib, I call it Seeville — derived from all the yank yuppies who live by what they can see, taste, and feel in their Epicurean heaven — not by what they CAN’T see, such as the real Heaven and the God who reigns over all, and has given the gift of America based on His precepts and requirements for righteousness.

The guy working the polls at the school where I voted had a Boston accent...this may end badly!
I recently spotted a young woman here in Atlanta with a ‘WA’ bumper sticker on her car. I asked if it stood for Western Albemarle. She was shocked that I would know that. I told her I remember when the school was originally built. (I grew up in W’boro and had cousins that went to C’ville HS.)
