Avenue? You don't go hunting on 'avenues'!Rural areas were 'endowed' with addresses for the purposes of 911 emergency responses. You can be at 49th Ave and 115th Street in North Dakota (not a building in sight) for instance. It is just part of the address grid reference, but does not imply any population density. The higher the numbers, the less likely you are anywhere near a town.
