I don't see the point here. It was nowhere on par with "Dallas" or "Dynasty."

It did run for nine seasons (1981-1990), which is about the same length as Dynasty.

So they think they can replace Robin Leach and Angela Lansbury? Good grief.

Respectable run, yes, but it was not a phenomenon as Dallas and Dynasty were (both of which held or competed for the #1 highest rated show). I wouldn’t even rank it with Knots Landing, which went for 14 seasons (1979-93), which also ran with FC concurrently on CBS.
