There are many of them, and as you surf around, you will start to recognize them and find out what they mean.
Usually, it’s something silly. We do have a lot of fun here, in spite of the arguing, debating, and grammar police.
It’s all part of the Free Republic zeitgeist.
And for the most part, this is the nicest bunch of people you will meet on the Internet. We get together IRL, too.
