Hubby and I also watch The Talking Dead, which is a discussion group talking about that night's episode. It usually has someone from the episode as a guest, and then a couple of other people, some associated with the show and, also, just fans.
Anyway, it is very lighthearted and funny; and, this helps me "come down" from the gruesomeness of the episode. I know what you mean about it staying in your head; so, I find a little lighter fare afterward helps.
It’s getting better. I guess you get used to it and, you’re right, seeing something else afterward helps. Do you watch “Revolution” or “Continuum”?
I like talking Dead as well. There was also a Talking Bad show after Breaking bad that was pretty good show.
