Sorry, no. I saw it in the Military Channel. All I recall is that it definitely was SS. I believe this was shortly after the Night of the Long Knives.

It was a little surprising because they were much more professional in their demeanor than the SA ruffians; more disciplined but just as deviant.

There definitely were a bunch of butch homos (as opposed to femme homos) at the top of the party, there’s no question about that. And as someone said earlier on this thread, Hitler was one of them.

From what I have read, this was no secret in the ‘30s. But after the war, the Germans stopped talking about it, because, naturally enough, they were deeply embarrassed about letting a butch homo lead them to military defeat and war shame.
