In fairness, I suspect part of the problem was, as usual, Obama was rude and showed up extremely late to this event, leaving people all standing there in their poses in the Rose Garden waiting for him to show up. If you were standing outside in the sun without being able to move for 45 minutes or more, it might have an effect on anyone.

Ironically, the anyone happened to be standing directly behind the hero. Amazing coincidence.
I am normally very skeptical of this sort of thing, but the video is very convincing. As others have pointed out, the fact that they chose a pregnant, diabetic woman-of-color will make any anyone claiming it was staged susceptible to being called insensitive, mean-spirited, and - of course - racist.
