Then you should know better. Dont be a ha8t3r.
The Chicago-style pizza boosters are the ones who started claiming supremacy early in this thread. I have had plenty of Chicago pizza of all types, and don't appreciate being told that I have to try it when I have had more than many Chicagoans. I am just setting the record straight.
Youre pikers with a weak, sissified copy of the original. The first pizzeria was opened in the Chicago Loop in the late 19th century.
Who's the hater? I didn't call anyone a piker. I pretty much attacked the pizza. It is okay to virulently defend one kind of pizza against another.
By the way, if you have some good background information on this 19th century Chicago pizza that disappeared for 50 years, you should update Wikipedia, as they have it first being created in Little Italy, New York City.
1rudeboy, who is a defender of Chicago style pizza, courteously accepted my recommendation to try the New Haven style pizza at Piece Pizza on North Avenue. I recommend you do the same, and then we can just accept that we have different tastes, and different conceptions of pizza.

It is okay to virulently defend one kind of pizza against another.I wasn't taught that knowledge and now that I know the rule, I am OK with it.
Let's just say we have different tastes and stop fighting, Okay?
What time/date are we meeting at Piece for pizza?
