The GOP-E knows they lost the battle big-time... but they're more interested in preserving what they see as the "status quo". What the idiots don't realize is that as a result of this huge defeat the balance of power in America has shifted significantly more to the Left.

But what the idiots are counting on is that by the time the mid-year elections come around, while all may not be forgotten there will be a new crisis they can use to show why they should be re-elected.

Never forget -- the No. 1 priority for most of the members of the Stupid Party (and for nearly all political officeholders) is not anything as "esoteric" as the preservation of our Constitutional Republic, the separation of powers or preservation of traditional American values which they practice when it's not inconvenient to do so ... No ... that's a distant second to their top priority --- getting re-elected and getting "love" inside The Beltway.
