The CDC guy said everyone in Ricks group was infected,
No, the CDC guy was referring to the entire population, not just Rick's group. That's why he had set the doomsday bomb clock.........

Actually, take a look at some of the infection simulations out there. If you assume a bite is toxic, and natural death means re-animation, global infection takes about a week.
Plenty fast enough for a pandemic to bring humanity to the brink of extinction.

I thought he said that the doomsday clock was automatic after the generator's fuel supply ran out.

The thing of it is that he immediately reanimated as a Walker.
We don't really know that, all we saw was the kid claiming to be sick in Carol's class, excusing himself, then walking thru the prison coughing, then going into the prison to take a shower. It's there where he collapses and apparently dies. We really don't know the time frame between the death and when he reanimates............
As a side note, we have seen many instances where a killed person reanimates very quickly.....Shane being a prime example.

Walkers killed by “natural” means seem to come back faster. Those who die of the bite take a bit to come back. Andrea’s sister for example.

I don't remember that ...
but that was two years ago and if I remember correctly, it was the CDC guy who gave up and decided to blow up the facility. It was his choice.......

Come on bro, is that really necessary? This is fantasy... This is television drama not zombie hyper-analysis........
Just enjoy it for what it is instead of dissecting and criticizing it.......wow.

Yea, because it takes time to bleed out and die............

And, Milton -Andrea's killer. He seemed to take his time turning. And he was just gutted by The Governor, not bitten.

Personally, I like analyzing it for strategic purposes. It's half the fun.

I do too but I don't take any pleasure in seeing the show being criticized and nit picked for doing this or not doing that.
To keep a show of this particular genre alive and well for this length of time with the audience it has is a testimony to the writers and everyone involved in this series.
To post links to actual contagion distribution graphs and expect discussion is a little over the line of fun.......

Heh! You have any idea how bad it gets with certain, obsessive Star Trek and Star Wars fans?
WOW!

I’m just watching it now. “They’re just different.” Liberal was exactly what I thought!

And Rick says the sick animal in the woods was a Boar, a wild Pig, so definitely a sign of a new strain or virus.
To: Hot Tabasco
“Do they actually pick up the mumbles?”
Pretty much, I think. With last night’s eppy, it seemed that the CC was in sync with what crazy woman was saying. Might be worth your while to try it one day to see what you think.

When did he say that? I'm gonna have to re-watch it on "On Demand" because I thought the woods girl had somehow killed it......And someone had killed the deer too....the girl?

I have the episode on dvr....at what point did woods girl say (whatever)?
It’s not just you....I have good hearing, and I sometimes get really frustrated at the way actors mumble their lines. Recently we were watching some movie, can’t remember what it was, and I was ready to just give up on it.
