^^^I’ve got a 2003 Trailbrazer with the 4.2l engine (Purchased new). Have used nothing but 87 octane with ethanol for 289,000 miles. Still got the original fuel pump and still get 22 mpg on the highway.&&&
You need to go buy a lottery ticket, and keep your AAA membership up to date. Luck only lasts so long.
I have changed 6 pumps in those chevy 4.3 engine equipped vehicles, and that was in only 4 vehicles. Got 2 older pumps from the parts house that each lasted 3 weeks before giving it up. The impellers turn to goo in the alcohol.
Actually I understated the mileage...it has 298,640 miles.
