Good Morning! I'm wishing to open up a new email account and depart Gmail, basically because of Google policies.
Does anyone know of a secure, FREE, email service?
Many thanks in advance.
on the nose
You say you need it to be “free.” Since TINSTAAFL (there is no such thing as a free lunch), there will be some kind of payment, like the advertiser problem that has you wanting to move in the first place. Maybe they don’t do it today, they can very well change the policy and inundate you again in the future.
Pony up a little cash somewhere. You get what you pay for.
I put in 'pen-name', phony DOB, no other identifying info for hackers to exploit, and have most of my kids/grandkids doing the same.
I use it to keep in constant touch with, share photos and highlights with, my 5 kids and 15 grandkids, who are spread far and wide. Heretofore, we could block the general public, aka the whole wide world, from accessing our sights.
That's going to end, per the article yesterday about his buying up neighboring homes...buried down deep was a quiet mention that all privacy blocks will be gone, per:
"hidden way down in the story:
"Yesterday news broke that Facebook was removing yet another privacy feature. Soon, even people who wish to remain hidden from Facebook searches will have no choice but to be searchable on the social network..."
there's a reason ZuckerHead got an award from the CIA. One could even suspicion he's been gathering total information on all users - including connecting each with all their family, friends, accquaintences, and all their networks - along with face recognition, for the gov't/NSA.

Does anyone know of a secure social networking site where a family-friends group could safely 'chat"?
I use ixquick for browser - gong to switch over for email
