I’m running it without a problem. FF 24 & Win 7
why you still using firefox
chrome and opera is where everyone is migrating to
Have you updated your video card as well?
It’s more likely to be a problem with your PC than with the shipping release of Firefox on Windows... just sayin’.
I’m using comodo dragon. No problems.
Everything else, including European and Russian news works fine. It's got so bad I won't click on any of the major media links at FR, but FR itself works fine.
Any ideas anyone?
It sounds like Malware although there are problems with Shockwave.
I’m using the same versions and no problems here. However sometimes after an update I disable some of the add-ons using tools/add-ons.
I like Firefox and rarely watch videos but if I do watch a video I use google chrome.
There have been complaints about it, but apparently they aren't going to fix this bug, so I'm sticking with version 18.
Use it for most sites with no problems, but do switch to FireFox when I wish to watch or download a vid at times.
Sadly, the Mozilla folk keep making Firefox worse. Each new rapid release (yeah, that insanity continues) creates as many new problems as it resolves.
I have tried several versions of FF, including the standalone portable. They all stink. Many extensions no longer work — because developers got tired of trying to keep up with FF Rapid Release.
I have some FF versions that will not load or save PDF files. Some have problems with Adobe Flash.
On my desktop, I have quite updating FF and Flash. I am stuck with FF15 — but it sort of works better with the add-ons, etc. I also use FF23 portable on my laptop.
Mozilla took a good browser and are continually trying to (and succeeding) in breaking it and turning it into crap.
Firefox started sucking a long time ago.
Chrome with ghostery plugin to block google scripts is the best option I have found.
I’m running Firfox 21. That seems to be the most recent version that is compatible with Delicious Bookmarks. Haven’t tried 22 or 23 but 24 doesn’t work for me.
BTW, there is no better bookmarking scheme than the one devised by Delicious. It is the best. I actually don’t think it can be improved on.
Windows 7 Sucks.
In your browser menu, go to Tools and select Add-ons. When the page opens, check to see if any of your plug-ins and Extensions need updating and update them.
Try WaterFox...very fast..
Since Tuesday I have not been able to use Firefox for more than 10-15 minutes without it crashing and automatically sending crash reports. I have had to go to IE.
