It is best to repent of your sins and accept Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord. That way you can leave all of your preparation supplies to those who are left behind.
Agree with that...but hey, if you are gonna leave some guns behind, make sure they are the right ones.

I agree with your first sentence. However, there are LOTs of opinions on when a rapture occurs. It may not occur until after the tribulation. I hope your view is correct, but there is not guarantee of that view.
LTJG Howell Forgy, Chaplain Corps:
Well, I was stationed aboard the USS New Orleans, and we were tied up at 1010 dock in Pearl Harbor when we were attacked again. We were having a turbine lifted, and all of our electrical power wasn’t on, and so when we went to lift the ammunition by the hoist, we had to form lines of men form a bucket brigade and we began to carry the ammunition up through the quarterdeck into the gurneys, and I stood there and directed some of the boys down the port side and some down the starboard side, and as they were getting a little tired, I just happened to say, “Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.” That’s all there was to it.
My thoughts: The Lord helps those who help themselves (not actually in the Bible, but consistent with scripture). If He doesn’t call me home in the rapture or via the normal means, He wants me to stay here and live to do His work. Who am I to (1) argue, or (2) fall short of what I could accomplish for Him.
I will be armed as needed. That is not the center of my life, but to be an easy target would be to fail in using the gifts He gave me. To fail to arm myself would be to put my family and my neighbors at risk, giving predatory criminals an advantage over decent people. I don’t believe that is what God wants from me.
I will also center my life around God and around His will.
Like 22:35-38 And He said to them, When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything? So they said, Nothing. Then He said to them, But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: And He was numbered with the transgressors.For the things concerning Me have an end. So they said, Lord, look, here are two swords. And He said to them, It is enough.
As I read that passage, (1) we are supposed to arm ourselves when necessary, and (2) we are supposed to arm ourselves in moderation (two swords are enough, in other words, we shouldn’t have a huge arsenal that requires most of our time and resources to maintain and to stay proficient).
I’m sorry,
you’re comment sounds a bit off
must be a rapture fan,,
let me ask,
you expect to be taken away before a climactic period,correct?
Jesus asked to have “this cup” removed,what makes You so special?
Jesus isn’t against us defending ourselves, and who’s gonna be left behind?
Last time I read the Bible He’s going to establish His Kingdom here on Earth, so where would we be going if He’s coming here?
“That way you can leave all of your preparation supplies to those who are left behind.”
