FOX update: A female was the shooter, the police officer was hit by a car, and at least one civilian on Capitol Hill hit by gunfire. President was briefed on reports.

Secret Service confirms that it was the female’s effort to get into the 15th St. Gate by the Whitehouse and Treasury Dept. which started high speed chase that ended in front of Capitol where the female was forced off the road and then she got out of car and started firing.
