The modern server is redundant in all aspects and hosts many sites, using many DB methods, even more content management systems, and is backed up to a remote silo that requires frequent exchange of tapes.
Yes, it actually needs to be staffed to fix the parts that fail and you have no clue of the underlying technology while you move your animated gif into the correct corner and agonize over what color and font to use.
