In all cases, wherever practical, avoid all contact with the government.

I’m not a doomsday type, I’m not in a militia. I’m not preparing for CWII or a revolution. I was in the USN, and I hold the old Japanese saying “The nail that sticks up, gets hammered down.” as being gospel for today’s America.

I hate what this country has become, and I hate most of my fellow citizens who are stupid beyond belief. But, I do want to survive as best I can, and avoiding the government as much as humanly possible is step #1.
