Some of my “distant cousins” have huge lists of family names (descendents in the 10’s of thousands) from the Early Settlers on all sides of my family.

A large number of us are distant cousins. I think the existence of an indigenous non-Indian American nationality is too much discounted in the current “nation of immigrants” story that is prevalent today. The last of my ancestors got here in George Washington's first term and many Americans ancestors all got here before the Revolution- those are no immigrants.
