I realize everything still runs under windows in DOS, but having to remember all the syntax is gone forever. Long live the GUI!

Actually Windows server management is going away from the GUI, back to the command line (except now it's Powershell instead of DOS).

i used to program on a typewriter type machine aka no monitor.
l * = list current line of program
l * 23 = list current line thru next 23
c * progm/program = change current line word from progm to program

essentially you almost had to know to program by heart.
wow. memories.

Current Windows (since XP) is not DOS, it is NT based. It does have a command line interface which looks a lot like DOS, but it isn’t.
