Yeah, what is THAT button for? Does anyone use it?

I vaguely remember using scroll lock to interrupt the listing of a long output to the screen. You could also use Ctrl S and Ctrl Q to stop and restart the list scrolling. That was in the BW (Before Windows).

We had a workstation that would access a local tower or a mainframe... and you could toggle back and forth by hitting scroll lock, scroll lock, 2. The guy who set up the box pick scroll lock because it served no other purpose.
