I went to U-haul and was able to rent a Ford F-150 long bed and the total charges were $64.
I will just never deal with Avis ever again.
I have the same problem with AT&T.
I recently attempted to have a landline from AT&T.
The tech came out and connected it to the wrong place. He did not contact me as he claimed my cell number was a bad number. He did not try the second number I gave AT&T.
Then he came out a second time, supposedly installed it correctly, but the line never worked properly.
I could not get dial up service to work and there was tremendous amount of static on the line.
Maybe it is just the quality of people working in Louisiana that I am having to deal with... I really don't know.
I once tried to get a job in Louisiana, and person doing the hiring was stealing from the state of Louisiana (as I later found out from my family) and was criminally prosecuted.
A family member said that the person who interviewed me realized I was very good with computers and would realize that she was stealing from the state of Louisiana.
But then I guess she just someone like Edwin Edwards and Huey P Long -- crooks in position of responsibility.
Of course that is White Collar crime in Louisiana.
There is plenty of people who steal cell phones (easy to find and prosecute) and credit cards.
It was not that long ago that a family stopped at the wrong service station (Chevron) in Baton Rouge and were beaten up (husband, wife, and daughter).
This was the incident where they were told "you are in the wrong neighborhood"
Just venting, folks...
When I rented the pickup from U-Haul, they took my debit card and only required a $80 deposit. I received about $17 back from that deposit, or I received an email that I should...
