So using his criteria, what do we make of this Picasso painting? Piece o' crap, by any standard.
Can't wait until this commie's garbage reverts to its intrinsic value, and bored investment bankers are left holding the bag.

“... I hope to show, his painting has certain affinities, Piero seems to have been inspired by what I may call the
religion of Plutarch’s Lives - which is not Christianity, but a worship of what is admirable in man.” Huxley

Communist Goals #23: Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."
Mission accomplished!

It has. One of my favorite living painters is Steven Assael. I had the opportunity to meet him at one of his seminars. The photos on the Internet do not convey the richness of his painting techniques.
http://www.stevenassael.com/ I also admire the graphite drawings of Anthony Ryder.

This worth exploring. There are several wonderfully talented artists participating in their competitions.

Concrete is a wonderfully plastic material that can easily be molded into interesting designs and shapes with **color**
. Why don’t architects take advantage of this amazingly substance? Why the stark straight lines? Why this dreadful putty color?

William Bouguereau is the greatest. I used to have a print of this one, "Song of the Angels", hanging in my house. But I gave it to a friend and it got smashed during a move...

Now that painting looks like something taken by a camera.
I bet he had real models for that painting and my, all those girls really look angelic.

Why the stark straight lines? Why this dreadful putty color? Those buildings are from a school of architecture called "brutalism." Wikipedia mentions that the architectural philosophy is associated with totalitarianism, and socialist utopianism (surprise!). If you search on "worst communist buildings," it's all you'll find. It was a popular architectural style in the '60s and 70s.
A very enlightening book on the philosophy behind modern architecture is, "Living Machings: Bauhaus Architecture as Sexual Ideology," by E. Michael Jones. Walter Gropius, like other modern icons, such as Kinsey and Keynes, was a degenerate. The idea behind the modern apartment building was to facilitate sexual promiscuity, destroy the family, and promote socialism. If anyone has ever lived in a college dorm...

Mission accomplished! Absolutely. What I find shocking is people who find it "beautiful." It was intended to be ugly. Just read what the Dadaists and Picasso had to say about their own "art."

HOW ABOUT THESE PIECES OF ART PAID FOR BY TAX PAYER DOLLARS: Some day I'm going to do some performance art on one of these so-called artists, and their art, if you know what I mean.
