There are sociopaths in government. History has had many of them: King Herod the Great, Timur-e-Lang,Caligula, Reinhard Heydrich, Vlad III, Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Mao Tse-Tung, Idi Amin, Pol Pot, Kim Jong-Il, Saddam Hussein and Moammar Qhadafy.
Sociopaths show hostility easily and have a callus disregard if their behavior harms another. Sociopaths have no conscience and will never accept they are wrong. They will win at any cost. Sociopaths are entirely self-serving and will pursue any action that serves their own self interest even if it seriously harms others. Sociopaths have no regard for the rights and feelings of others. They get personal gratification from having total power over another through sadism, deceit, coercion, or intimidation. Sociopaths lacks empathy and will engage in behavior that inflicts pain: that is cruel, degrading to others and brings humiliation—or watching such behaviors inflicted on others.
