Miss Kansas did terrific. She herself remarked that she had an advantage in the popularity contest. Then she held her own in the swim suit and evening gown. The talent portion of the contest was awesome. Miss Kansas was impressive for just picking up Nessum Dorma from youtube. I’ll tell you something, if I’m in a plane and the pilot suddenly keeled over and died, I think that girl could take over and land the thing after scanning the manual. But, by saying impressive, I’m not saying her singing was good enough to win. I was most surprised by Miss Florida. I thought, baton twirling, you’ve got to be kidding. But, in my opinion, I think she won the talent portion. Talk about throw back. In the balancing of looks versus talent, Miss California, a super smart Chinese American, was very strong in performance. Very strong. But, in my opinion, Miss New York, the Indian American, edged her out because she was the prettier of the two and very strong in grace and charm, and also had some of the prettiest clothes. I thought Miss Texas was pretty enough and I was hopeful for her rendition of Fever, but it was kind of flat. Miss Georgia was a classic America, and there was nothing wrong with her talent, except the competition was better.
I often think some of the more idiotic statements come from trolls, who regularly post and then let their KKK flag fly just to prove the right of center is racist. I can’t believe actual freepers are as “ignant” as some of the comments I’m reading.
Echo that.
Ok, so the country of India - a 3rd world nation - has widespread poverty and ‘filth’. So how exactly is that connected to a second generation AMERICAN of Indian origin winning an AMERICAN contest?
Your reflexive attempt to connect the above two indicates that you cannot see an INDIVIDUAL in a context other than the race they belong to.
To put it simply - you saw a person of Indian origin and the first thing you posted was “they” stink
You are a racist - plain and simple. And an especially odoriferous one at that.
I thought I’d see more pics on this thread.
Oh well.
Were she a Muslim, she’d be headed for the gallows after that dance act.
I worked with two Indian women who were better looking. This was a PC selection. You can BET that she supports the homosexual agenda.
To say nothing of world peace.
2) How deep did they have to dig to come up with the tweets in question? How representative were they?
3) Where do you draw the line between jokes and "racism"? "Miss 7-11" might just be a (lame attempt at a) joke.
4) "Miss America"? Is that a thing?
