Does nobody study history anymore?
The world is coming frighteningly close to renacting 1939 pre-WWII.
Here are the roles:
Obama is Nevil Chaberlain: a rank amateur in control of a world power who is completely out of his depth.
Then there is the powerful and admired man, the one rebuilding a failed empire after it lost a brutal conflict (substitute the Cold War for WWI). A monster who is nonetheless well respected. One who wants to recapture lost territory (substitute the Ukrain for Poland). The "peace maker" with legitimate grievances. A true professional to boot.
As the saying goes, we've read this book. Or should have. And last time the ending included "50,000,000+ dead."
No, Putin is not as nuts or power mad as Hitler was, but everything from his support of Syria to Obama's utter pathetic incompetence matches up to WWII. Except this time we have nukes at the START of any war.
That said, there are some major differences. Putin has to save Obama's butt because the last thing he wants is a strong American President to follow Obama. He definitely does not want to see the rise of a Churchill or (horrors) a Reagan. Also, our military is still the most powerful history has ever seen. By a LOT (despite Obama's efforts to gut it). Putin doesn't want that fight.
But the parallels are there.
The take-away: don't trust Obama because he is incompetent. Don't trust Putin because he is competent.
PS Also don't trust Obama because he is a thin skinned narcicistic psychopath who has no real loyalty to America.

That is the image he has created, but I am not so sure. Read “The Third Reich; Rise and Fall of the Nazis.” The parallels are terrifying.
Or maybe you’re right. But the same monsters do the same things again and again and again throughout history: they look like saviors before bring mass misery and death.
BTW Obama is definitely in that category. I am not picking Obama over Putin. In fact, I’d vote for Putin over Obama for President. No joke. But I am starting to be scared of who and Putin is, too.

The only reason Putin is doing this is because we’re paying for it. No doubt in my mind we’re buying this charade. A few billion dollars to various countries, and obammy gets to claim it was his tough negotiating. This is a financial resolution.
I’m thinking the whole charade is deliberate. WWIII is the solution to global economic failure. All the better if world leaders can sit it out with American blood paying the price.

BTW the topic of discussion is how the world’s leaders are walking us down the same path that led to WWII, except this time we have nukes BEFORE the war starts. But I am glad it is more important to you two that my nearly 50 year old eyes cannot read the equivalent of 5 point font so well on my iPhone 4. Point well made. Congratulations! That's about the way I see it. The return of Russia to Christianity is real, there's no way anybody goes to the cost and trouble of building 200 Christian churches in and around Moscow or rebuilding that gigantic cathedral in Moscow for any sort of a show:
