This research was in the
Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. That is not a joke.

So are they saying that the sweater vest wearing, manscaped, raisinette equipped, metro sexual is a better dad. BS.

Based on the fact there does not seem to be any particular reason to perform this study I can only assume the researchers just like playing with balls.

My dad is a wonderful dad. Should I be talking to my mom about this?

I wonder if the relative distance of the dangle matters? I remember that Nick Nolte was alleged to have had a “testicle tuck”, because his hung down so low they were a nuisance.
N.B.: the reason for external testicles is that, for some reason, sperm do not function well at body temperature, and need to be cooler than the insides. Even overusing a hot tub is known to decrease fertility.
Last but not least, a parody of a Revolutionary War song:
Do your b**** hang low, do they wobble to and fro?
Can you tie ‘em in a knot, can you tie ‘em in a bow?
Can you throw ‘em over your shoulder, like a Continental soldier?
Do your b**** hang low?

“Better” is a qualitative term not useful in science. I’m thinking the authors define “better” = a man who does all the house work, shopping and cooking. In fact everything except the breast feeding. Which is still women’s work but we’re working on that.
