Just...WOW!
I had some expanding crab at Red Lobster last week.
M-1 Nebula 12/5/2008 14x60sec Camera Canon 40D. M1 is the remnant of a star that exploded as a supernova which was observed in ancient times in 1054, by the Chinese. The above is my attempt at M-1...Of course this was taken with an older camera, without proper filters. I clearly did not enough data in this initial shot. I'll attempt this target again, in the hopes of obtaining more image data for post processing.
