Do you think the interview he saw on TV made him that mad? Mad enough to kill them? I was under the impression that scene served strictly as motivation for him to go back and get his money, thus reclaiming his Empire...not so much to exact revenge on Gretchen and Elliot for saying he wasn’t important.

I agree with you.

I think the scene was there just to kick old Walt back into Heisenberg mode one last time.

he’s going back for both empires. he lost’the first’one he built, now they say he didn’t do anything?!?

now the second one is taken away and he lost that and his family in the process.

he’s gonna go after both sets of people. gretchen/elliot quietly w/ the ricin, using his chemical expertise. jack and co with the brute power machine gun.
