There is some real smart physics gal that has studied the Shroud, and I think is the one that came up with the idea of a “big bang” theory. On a Biblical note that makes sense considering the “new Creation” because of Christ’s death and resurrection.
I think it was her that also talked about how the image is the same the entire way around the shroud, with no compression of the image or the muscles showing on the back side - so no body weight pushing down. A suspension of “time and space and gravity” at the instant of the resurrection.
Very interesting surmisings. New creation... big-bang like... it would be very much like God to do that! Nuclear effects that would need the modern age to more fully reveal!

Correlate the big-bang theory with the Shroud — look for identical markers — well, as long as it is to the glory of God not the glory of the investigators, at the worst it is another path that did not pan out.
