The nails through the wrist versus the hand have always bothered me. Even with that discrepancy, I believe it is the Shroud.

I had thought there was experimentation (with corpses, don’t worry) that showed nails thru the hands would NOT hold up a body, only the wrists worked?

If you found a human remain on the street that consisted of the last 4" of the forearm, the wrist, the palm, four fingers and a thumb, with nails, what word would you use to describe it on the 911 call?

Hebrew didn't distinguish between the hand and wrist.

A European artist would have put the nail in the palm, that it wasn't indicates it isn't a European forgery.

In Roman times the wrist was considered part of the hand; that’s where the nails went, not through the palms.
