Not really so impressive now, is it?

BBC reported that Moser’s idea is expected to help light one million homes by next year.

It is to me and the million poor whom his idea will help illuminate the homes of. There are really, really poor people in this world. Sounds like something that they can do for themselves. Might even save a few million KWHs daily in electrical usage as well, for those who do have electricity.

My point was that the title of the article said that the lighting source used ONLY plastic and water to provide light. It is a sensational headline as it ignores the contribution of a giant ball of fusing plasma.

I can provide you with FREE lighting that doesn't require water or a plastic bottle. Are you interested? Do you think poor folks might be interested? OK, here's how you do it: go outside during the day.

Bam! Free lighting!
