If you want to bash Christianity in general, find somebody else to play with.
I am not bashing “Christianity”, why are you? I’m just pointing out that there are hypocrites and “holier than thou” types and this is not just limited to some among the Amish and Mennonites sects.
FWIW, I live and work in Lancaster Co. PA and I’ve not run into the Amish and Mennonites that you describe. They try to live “separate” from the worldly world for the most part but they are not from my experiences with them, what you describe.

I live in Lancaster County, PA. I grew up here. I regularly work with both Amish and Mennonite. Just as ALL Christian groups have their dirtbags, so do the Amish and Mennonites.
The “show” is pure, unadulterated BS. Not even the clothing is “authentic”.
The garbage television spews has to be taken with a ton of salt.
