No need to search for "hidden pedophiles", IMHO, there are plenty of stupid people who have carelessly caused the accidental deaths of others.

If this creature was so dangerous (and who am I to argue with a herpetologist) WHY was it being displayed in a public store?? Apparently, the guy also had crocodiles and tarantulas there.
