In defense of my friends at #5 who wore the Orange with pride. There is nothing else to do in Syracuse...PERIOD!
University of Florida #6
I’m disappointed, we can do better.
Just curious to see the sober school!

RE: In defense of my friends at #5 who wore the Orange with pride. There is nothing else to do in Syracuse...PERIOD!
So, what are the other students in other universities in upstate NY doing? I don;t see colleges like U of Rochester, SUNY Binghamton or Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on the list...
RE: Just curious to see the sober school!
See Post #5
What? No LSU or Alabama?? I have one at Ole Miss.
I think I almost died after a long weekend at WVU. I have no idea how those guys I knew graduated.
Hmm. I see something missing. Off we weave into the wild, drunk yonder...
Party schools:
7. Ohio University, Athens, Ohio
16. Miami University of Ohio, Oxford, Ohio
Ahhh, good times. I just wish I could remember them all.
Lots of chicks with nothing else to do (Mills, Simmons, Wellesley, Agnes Scott, Wesleyan in Georgia) = no drinking.
I liked this Internet headline: "Top 20 Party Schools, Top 20 Sober Schools All Sound Equally Horrible"
Sober Schools:
11. City University of New York-Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, N.Y.
12. City University of New York-City College, New York City
13. City University of New York-Queens College, Flushing, N.Y.
Why??? 60% Muslim??
Princeton? What the hell? How is it credible that a university is rating all the other universities? Isn’t this a little like Miss Utah scoring the rest of the pageant entrants?
This is just the East Coast elite attempting to undermine the value of degrees from non-Ivy League schools.
For example, UC Santa Barbara. It’s on the beach. It’s beautiful. So are the students. So what? That makes it a “party” school? It’s also really hard to get into. Top robotics and engineering programs. Awarded a half dozen Nobel Prizes in the last ten years. Can you say that, Princeton? Not lately.
And yet you grindy little Princeton nerds undoubtedly “party” just as hard. You’re just in hellhole New Jersey, not California, and nobody wants to look at you guys in bathing suits. Jealous much?
Signed,
UC Santa Barbara Alum
P.S. “Party” is neither an adjective nor a verb, so your storied literature department, which once long ago launched F. Scott Fitzgerald, might want to rethink that usage. Or are you just dumbing it down for us rubes?
The big homecoming weekend when they play Hobbes College is supposed to be pretty wild, though ...
That's just the name of the company.
The Princeton Review is the name of the company? There’s no connection to the university?
Interesting that the other service academies made the sober schools list but the Air Force Academy didn’t...
Fighter pilots.
Commuter schools. Not much campus life (I think).
submitted for your consideration: a sober school is just a party school in disguise...
;-)
Why isn’t UVa on the list??
