Didn’t Joe Paterno say he wishes he “had done more”?

In the most important decision of his professional life, he failed. Not saying he was evil; but he decided to risk people not finding out in order to protect Penn States reputation.

Having a university president who had a goal of making PSU the most homosexual-friendly college in America didn’t help.

You left out the “In hindsight” part of his quote which preceded YOUR part of the quote.

That’s sort of like a Boston Airport security guard saying “In hindsight, I wish I had done more”.

See how that hindsight thing works?

On the contrary, that is what enabled the entire fiasco and cowed any opposition to silence. JoPa could have a should have used his influence to explode this thing before TSHTF. But Spanier has him convinced that he'd done his job in reporting it and getting Sandusky to retire early and the administration would take care of the rest.

I'm hopeful that Spanier's criminal trial will expose more. Unfortunately, the key witness is now deceased. This was a direct result of making PSU the most homosexual-friendly college in America . . . and the football program took the blame.

Keep in mind that most of the homo lobby doesn't even think buggering little boys is a problem. Many, in fact, view it as the next step in their march for "equal rights."
