Thanks for posting this. Never mind the critics. The simple fact that GT is focal point where mankind went from hunter gathers to agriculture and indicates the change in thought patterns that man had dominion over the animals is interesting. Indications that site lasted for over 2,000 years with continuous construction before being deliberately covered up(mysteriously)is fascinating.

Ditto. And the size and fitting of the stones was something we'd be hard pressed to do today, if we were able to do it at all.

The deliberate burial of the site seems pretty likely to be for protection. Perhaps of a global catastrophe. So the information on the stones may well have been considered crucially important by the makers. And star information is generally considered important by cultures around the world, and constellations are often portrayed as animals.

So there's a basic logic here that's not too far-fetched. Matching the exact constellations are another matter - the article didn't seem conclusive. Possible, yes, probable... mebbe...
