Most credible sources put the total number of Africans ever landing in the U.S. from the slave trade somewhere between 400K and 600K. Their total numbers in the U.S. at the time of the Civil War was approx. 4.5M. Oprah has been spewing BS for 25 years. It’s a shame so many believe it.
