Thought the big thing was happening yesterday when the power went out.

I waited for the ping so I could spring into action

Yes, we are having a few issues with the FR Emergency Thread Ping List called: The"The INTERNET isn't working" Ping List (Administered by the Department of Redundancy Dept.)

Seems our computer techs forgot to issue emergency candles for each of our computer work stations so our PING LIST operators were fumbling about in the dark while the electricity was off and couldn't issue the PING order.

This issue has been remedied and we now have a small stack of firewood at each workstation to provide light and warmth during any and all power outages so we can serve the FR patrons by establishing an EMERGENCY LIVE THREAD and issue a "The INTERNET isn't working" Ping List PING in times of cataclysm when the INTERNET quits working EVEN IF THE POWER GOES OUT!
