He mowed our lawn yesterday, sorta. Not under the picnic table. And he didn’t edge. If he wants me to pay him, he’ll have to finish later in the week.

We haven’t been asked to do any other jobs yet. Mrs. Atkinson said a neighbor might do her mother’s lawn.

Bill is diligently applying for jobs. He keeps asking me for help on the tests he has to complete, hoping to show he’d be a good employee.

It’s impossible to figure out what they want. I could be telling him all the wrong answers! We never could figure out what Petsmart wanted, when Anoreth was applying. You’d think a person who liked reptiles and would clean up poop for minimum wage would be sufficient! Clean criminal record, no drug use.

Auto dealerships, suggested by someone upthread, were only interested in experienced salespeople. We hope there will be retail and restaurant jobs opening up in the next couple of weeks as students head back to school.
