Ikea can be good. Often lots of little independent stores can have deals on furniture.
You might ask friends who know people who have nearly new couches they didn't like that you do. Could get those for two of your suggested payments in cost.
Hey Tomorrow ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McPCU9dFUI8
Prayers for her. I’ve been coming and going so much Ms. Face. Did we have conversations with her years ago together. To be truthful, I forget.
Anyway, wishing her the best.
Yes, I get “Big Bang Theory,” but the few times I’ve watched it, I felt a little “lost.” Maybe my brems don’t do bangs. Or theories...
I got some Aloe Vera juice this morning, and I hate to say it, but I’ve come to rely on it along with my other “remedies.” The stuff I get tastes like grape juice!
What about PBS streaming? You could watch your local equivalent of “North Carolina Weekend”!
I don’t have the bedbugs, because I haven’t used the washers in the laundry room, and I don’t go to commercial laundramats.
I WISH there were an IKEA store here! LOL! The closest is in Victorville, I think. Along with Golden Corral, though the latter is being built here! YAY! Only one store is scheduled, but...
Thanks for your input.
And how are Mrs Guy and the Little Guy?
Thanks again, Guy. I don’t recall about redhead, you and I having conversations, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t happen! LOL!
She has always been an awesome sister. She introduced me to FR, actually.
The PBS station here seems intent on global warming, saving the gay whales and hugging the trees that the darter snail fish live in. Or something. I quit watching it long ago. Even the cooking and building shows (like Yankee Workshop) are given less air time than “shame on man for encroaching on critters.”
So I’m just biding my time until I can afford Netflix again, and then I will watch movies at night, instead of trying to hold up a hard-bound book. (My WRISTS!)
And I have to ask: Is “Duck Dynasty” any good? I’ve read about the family, but I have no clue about the show.
Victorville has grown a lot and should have many little cheap furniture stores. Good queen beds would be about $299. Couches maybe around $270 or look for real good used for tens of dollars.
I’ve been here a long time as well. Most likely did know her.
LOL!
Good for Mrs. Guy being carded! She SHOULD be happy about it! (I never was, even at 14...)
Whoa. Little Guy is big enough for K? Awesome! Make sure his education is top notch, as he is the future of America! He COULD be President, some day! And an awesome one he would make!
It’s been maybe 10 years since I’ve been to Victorville, But I will keep your advice on hand. You have always provided good information.
Redhead has been here since 1998, and I think I signed up in 2001, so we are all “old-timers!”
“Duck Dynasty” is a cute show, in episodes under 30 minutes so you don’t have time to lose interest. The people are likeable and funny: nice, but quirky people who have loving, but goofy relationships with their relatives.
Anoreth said, “My friends who aren’t from the South don’t realize that this is what people’s real relatives are like.”
All I know most recently is my baby says he wants a BIG home, a Chrysler and 16 babies. I was invited to come over later to help change those diapers.
Very expressive and outgoing young man.
I told him he has to be ready to WORK.
I was from 2000.
I was 34, well over a decade ago! Back when I was actually around 20, there was an amusing incident when my dad took me to the Officers’ Club for dinner, and several people thought I was his new wife.
(”I thought your wife’s name was Pat.” “This is my daughter!!!”)
Redhead has visited around the UT from time to time over the years, as well as on religious topics, articles about Alaska, etc.
Being the older one I try help her do anything she wants to in life and of course she is still in college half-time.
I hit religious threads some, but not a lot.
Probably did communicate with her on Alaska threads since I’ve been there a couple of times.
Last time I watched people surfing 280 miles inland in 30 degree water. CRAZY!
People make their own choices based on their own priorities, and if you’re all happy, that’s what matters.
Your little boy is about a year older than my Frank. They’re so exhausting at this age! I spent about $20 on preschool for Frank, but I am thinking of calling a couple of local churches to see what they charge for part-time preschool. I could get more done with the others if I didn’t have Frank clinging on me ALL the time. Of course, Kathleen is approaching 2 and turning Impossible, so it might not help if Frank went away.
