“The Sea Will Tell” was a very interesting book.

Just curious, though...you think he is a liberal (most of whom are reprehensible in both your eyes and mine)and given his support of various people and things, that is reasonable.

Do you discount the truth because of the source? Can a liberal be right about anything?

And do you believe in a tenet of American justice, that every client deserves legal representation, or is it only “good” people deserve competent representation, and the rest deserve bottom of the barrel public defenders?

As a conservative (I presume from your Freepname)what are your thoughts on these things?

1. I have no idea if he is a liberal and don’t care.

2. A liberal can be right about things and a conservative or libertarian can be wrong about things.

3. I think every client deserves the best possible defense and the “state” deserves the best possible prosecution. Unfortunately, I believe that rarely happens. I think our Judical system tends to be more favorable to the defense. I really don’t have a problem with that. Sure some scum bags will get a pass, but it is in the nature of scum bags that they will not learn and eventually other scum bags or the Justice system will take care of them.

It is a shame that some innocents may be injured along the way, but it seems that as a society, we are willing to put up with Collateral damage.

My comments about “The Sea Shall Tell” are based completely on the book HE wrote and the facts he presented in HIS book. I enjoyed the book very much.

She was guilty. So was Simpson. So was Casey Anthony. Guilty people go free all the time.

I said he was a great lawyer. That does not mean I believe him to be the Second Comming and to be infallable in everything he says.
