Spare us the “it’s always been this way” crap. No, it hasn’t. Otherwise, military moral and discipline would not be at an all-time low.

And here's a question: so is consenting soldiers having gay sex better, or worse, in your opinion, than the hundreds to possibly thousands of rapes of French women committed by American soldiers in World War II?

The difference is it hasn’t been promoted as equal to hetrosexuality.
I truly pity our young people in the military.
While serving in the Army in South Korea in 1961, I was witness to a quick move by those in charge of our "compound." It seems that one of the sergeants was at a party, got drunk and made a pass at one of the men. The next morning his butt was on an airplane back to the States for a less-than-honorable discharge.
That is the way it used to be done, and it would be nice if those days were to return.
