Same here in summer. High Hispanic area. Looking up about this particular high school...72% eligible for free/reduced lunch. 40% state average for Colorado is shocking to me, too. Nearly half of the parents in this state can’t afford to feed their children? Really?

Some cities are being enticed to accept Meeshell’s food crap with bribery of $$.. free meals for all children....

I heard Baltimore or some place told them to stuff it.

100% of the students in the San Antonio ISD are in the “free” lunch program, so there is no feeling of being inferior among the majority Mexican population.

This same population manages to pack the arena for Spurs games, which is about the only thing they have to pay for in SA.

If we had Great Depression I soup kitchens instead of EBT cards, you’d be stunned at the lines.

It is not unusual to meet people who have been looking for work for three years or more.
