They don’t teach cursive in schools anymore. Haven’t you noticed how sloppy young people’s handwriting is nowadays?
Actually my youngest kid (8) was taught (private school) cursive before he was taught to print.
Look at how a young kid draws. It is not blocky looking scratch, it is sweeping rounded scratch, sort of like cursive.
His writing looks better than mine ever has.
